CTF Cares
The CTF Cares Program is a drive-through-style initiative designed to combat food insecurity at both local and national levels. In Fairfield County alone, over 10% of residents, including nearly 14,000 children, experience food insecurity, highlighting the urgent need for accessible and nutritious food programs in our community.
The program provides thousands of families with packages of nutritious produce and foods, including dairy-free, gluten-free, organic, vegan, and kosher options. Each package contains fresh ingredients and produce designed to feed a family of 4-6 for a week. Families larger than 4-6 can receive additional packages to ensure their needs are met.
Every package also includes a nutritionist-approved handout with a meal plan aligned with the Healthy Eating Pyramid, helping families gain proper nourishment to lead healthy, productive lives. Our goal is not only to provide food but also to empower families with the tools to make balanced dietary choices.
